Here is my Lesson Plan

Hi Chris,
Great lesson! You mentioned to me in last weeks discussion about the Spaghetti Towers you were constructing. It is simular to my bridge building project. I would suggest you take a look at my bridge building lesson on my wiki page. I got a few ideas from your lesson, hopefully you will benefit from mine. Check out the Tachoma Narrows Bridge Video online, it's very interesting.

Thanks,
John M

Chris,

I feel like this is a very exciting and engaging lesson. I love how they are coming up with ideas and then testing if their idea would work. This does incoporate the GAME plan method as well. Good job Chris. I wish I was in your class building towers, sounds like fun.

Here is my Second Lesson,

Chris,
I like the way that your assignment is ongoing-wiki to be used for later discussion. Have you used wikis in your class before?
Connie

Chris,
I really liked the way you have the students using the wiki for reflection on their towers. I have a question about your power point on structures, is it teacher created or from an online source? I am not sure how specific the lesson has to be with instructional materials but you may want to include this very minor detail. Overall it is a great lesson for students to be engaged with the content!

Susan

Chris,
Your lesson sounds great. I like the way that you posed a series of questions to help guide your student responses. I also think that having your students respond to other students and leave comments helps students look at different perspectives and approaches.
